Floor Plans

The Third Floor accommodates the support facilities for the Interventional Floor as well as patient care units for the Neuro Rehab Unit (NRRU) and the Acute Rehab services for the hospital. The officing area for Respiratory Therapy is also located on this floor. The remainder of the floor houses the major medical equipment for the building, distributing both up and down through the building.

The support services for the Interventional Floor include Surgical Pathology:, staff support functions such as locker rooms, lounges, and sleep rooms; conference rooms; and hoteling offices for faculty, fellows, and staff.

The NILRU contains 13 beds, with several 2-bed rooms in addition to an apartment style patient room. Additional rooms could be converted to semi-private rooms in order to improve the operating efficiencies of staffing a larger unit The room size would not need to be increased to accommodate two patients.
