Floor Plans

This level of the building is a support services floor as well as a public floor since the access and connection to the Westwood Plaza is through the Lower Lobby space on this floor.

The Cafeteria for the hospital will be located in the Westwood Plaza structure and will be connected to the Food Service Kitchen in the hospital. Access to the Cafeteria from the hospital will be via escalators from the Main Lobby on the Ground Floor or via the parking elevatos.

Other public functions in Westwood Plaza which will be accessed from the hospital include the Conference Center and the "Home of Homes" sleep rooms and lounge facilities for house staff and residents.

The remainder of the floor is occupied by ancillary services such as Clinical Lab; Pharmacy, including Outpatient Pharmacy, Clinical Engineering, Decedent Affairs; Volunteers, etc. and hospital support services including Environmental Services, Material Management, SPD (Sterile Processing Department), Security, etc.

The Loading Dock and Receiving functions are located off the existing loading dock driveway for the 200 and 100 Buildings. In fact, the new hospital loading dock and receiving function will be shared with the 200 and 100 Buildings. The existing dock at the 200 Building will become the soiled dock for the hospital and the Medical Plaza buildings. The two docks will be connected by a new platform permitting the two to work together as a single operation.
